A new band awakens from the jaws of extinction! Four powerhouse musicians ready to create seismic shifts through the medium of electric trumpet. Formed in 2010 as the Laura Jurd Quartet, DINOSAUR is: Laura Jurd: trumpet/fx, Elliot Galvin: keyboard, Corrie Dick: drums and Conor Chaplin: electric bass.

Together since 2007 creating a musical laboratory where elements of urban jazz and improvisation are made into a constantly surprising and uplifting mixes, LABtrio are Bram de Looze: piano, Anneleen Boehme: bass and Lander Gyselinck: drums.

A tour of Belgium, the Netherlands and UK touching down at the prestigious EFG London Jazz Festival this was a tour of two seriously good bands who both aim to make their mark on contemporary jazz.
